Mother's Day Tea and The Last Day of School

I LOVE JACK'S SCHOOL! He had such a great first year of MDO and really enjoyed his teachers and classmates. I was so pleased with his development throughout the year and felt such a sense of security when leaving him. Minus him shoving the rock up his nose, his year went off without a hitch!

Here he is eating his cookie during our Mothers Day tea. He and his friends made all us mommies an adorable year long calendar, and all pictures were made from his handprints or footprints- LOVE!!!! Somewhere there is a picture of he and I after his tea, and I will add it to this post.

His last day of school was on May 19th and here he is with his fabulous teachers- he loved Ms. Karlene and Ms. Nikki!

Here he is on the first day of school in Sept of 2010. I can't believe how much he's changed.

Elysse's Baby Shower

The last weekend in April Brian, Jack and I packed up and headed to Dallas. The boys went with me so that I could help host a baby shower for my dear and long time friend, Elysse. She and her husband, Kieth were expecting (at the time) a little girl, to be named Anna. Since I'm nice and behind on my blogging, Anna long ago made her debut and she is already 10 weeks old!

I had the pleasure of meeting Anna on her first trip to Midland a few weeks ago, and I must say, she is a DOLL- just like her mama. I was glad for Jack to get to meet such a young infant, since his brother will be here soon. I'm not sure exactly what he thought...and I'm not sure he is either.

A huge congratulations to Elysse, Kieth and all the family on beautiful Anna! Can't wait for our next visit :)

Easter 2011

Easter came as quickly as it went this year. Unintentionally, not much has been top on my priority list since I got pregnant, including blogging! We had a small Easter party for Jack and a few of his friends at our house the Saturday before Easter. We cooked on the grill, dyed eggs and had a little egg hunt. The kids and adults had a good time and we will have to make this an annual event!

On Sunday morning, Jack woke to find that the Easter bunny had come for a visit. "Gigi Easter Bunny" bought him a new tricycle and the bunny had filled his basket with all kinds of goodies.
