A Quick Weekend Trip

We headed to Grapevine for Gabe and Kristin's wedding.

We took Jack to Rainforest Cafe. He loved the monkeys!

Especially the monkey sitting next to him.......

Sweet Lainey and Lindsay came to meet us, as well as cousin Lou!

Jack loved looking out the window of our room, playing with the pillows

and looking at the waterfall's at our hotel- they were a big hit.

It rained all day yesterday and I couldn't resist letting Jack check it out.  I think he enjoyed himself!

Lake Trip

Over spring break we made a quick trip to the lake to begin to get things ready for the summer. I forgot the camera, of course, so had to wait and get these from Gigi. We got the flowerbeds planted and some spring cleaning done. Jack also got a new bed for the lake house, yay! On the trip he worked on his stair climbing....he's so deliberate and cautious in all he does, so funny!

 He got so carried away playing, he walked right into the water....no pictures of that, couldn't get the camera fast enough. But, there's Aunt Angie carrying him away from the water.

We can't forget to work on the soccer skills.

Easter Sunday..late

 

Day before Easter...late!

The Saturday before Easter, Jack hunted eggs. He picked up the concept very quicly and looked all over for those eggs. He was not so keen on carrying his basket, so we helped him with that.

He tried on mom's sunglasses for the millionth time and hung around with cousin Lou!

Then we dyed Easter eggs and had a blast. He had food coloring all over him!

Jack headed to bed early that night. Earlier in the week Jack ended up getting a sinus infection and bilateral ear infections! My poor bubby was not feeling well. We wanted to make sure he was good and rested for church the next morning.
