Jack, here is what you are doing.....
- walking, correction.....RUNNING everywhere. You will not slow down. Up until the last second you go to bed, you run everywhere.
- you have been pointing at everything for months and continue to point and want to be told what something is ALLLLL the time.
- You are working on your talking. You babble and jargon and I have NO clue what you are saying. You do clearly say mama, dada, bye bye and mum mum aka yum yum. For weeks I thought you were saying my name every time you ate and finally we realized you were telling us how yummy our wonderful cooking is! I am not for sure, but I believe you have said ball, book, dog, more and cookie- although with your accent, who could tell? You know how to sign for milk and more. If I ask you to say the word "no", you shake your head "no" and when we ask you to say "yes", you shake "no".
- You can show us where your ears, mouth, tummy, knees and feet are when asked. We're working on nose at the moment. You will point to your mama, daddy, Abbye, Sophie, Gigi and Aunt Angie when asked.
- You absolutely love to read. You bring me books through out the day and we go through no less than 5-6 books at bedtime. Other things you love: going outside, your daddy...he's the greatest, Elmo, your bear and blankie (we don't go to bed or nap without them), Abbye, you think it is hilarious when mommy or daddy chase you. You love the soccer ball and foot ball your daddy got you and constantly want us to throw them so you can go "fetch". You LOVE to dance....anytime you hear a beat your dancing. In fact, you entertained us yesterday during Palm Sunday church- the organs started and shortly after you did too, you danced the entire time the chior sang and organ played!
- You understand what most everything is and you can identify by either pointing or bringing it to us...you can show me when asked all your toys in the bathtub, if we ask you to get something from your playroom, you get it and bring it to us. You love to go get the girls- you go to the dog beds, hungry- you go to your chair, bath- you go to bathtub, find daddy- straight to his office or his side of the bed! There are more...
- You are friendly but cautious...anyone new comes along and you like to take a few before you warm up to them- just like your mama. Still working out our seperation anxiety. As soon as we round the corner to drop you off at your CBS room on Wed., let the waterworks begin!
- My favorite of all is your sense of humor.....you absolutely love to laugh. It doesn't matter if it is a funny face or something that you've done, you laugh and laugh. WE LOVE IT!!!
