Several New Posts!

I know I have been so far behind, but this should catch me up. Enjoy!

Jack is 9 months

On Tuesday Jack turned 9 months old. I cannot believe what a big boy he has become. He is playing peek-a-boo, waving and clapping. His only word continues to be Ma Ma and even then he really only yells for me when he's in his crib or if he is upset. Otherwise he comes up behind Brian or I and pulls at our pants leg to get our attention. He is pulling up and will walk with me if I hold his hands- very slowly. He continues to amaze us every day and we feel so blessed to have such a special little boy in our lives. Jack we love you so much!

At his check-up he was 20 lbs. and in the 50% for weight. He is 28.5 inches tall and in the 75% for height, and the funniest of all is his head which was in the 95% at 18.5 inches. We always said our children would have no hope of having a small head and boy is that true!

Fair and Mom's Birthday

This past weekend we celebrated mom's birthday and the St. Anns Fair. The fair always falls on the weekend of her birthday and unless we have a football game we either go to or are working a booth at the fair. So this weekend was kind of special because it was Jack's first fair experience- he had a blast, eventhough he had just been put on antibiotics for his ear infections. Ang and Dustin came into town along with Laura to experience all that yummy fair food. Oh the food- thank goodness the fair is only once a year! We all met that evening for dinner and I tried to keep Jack away from the crowds as much as possible since he was sick and it seems like the whole town has flu. I know we told you this weekend, but Happy Birthday Mom!

I could not find a newer picture of Mom and Jack to post for the B-day. This is one from when Jack was about 3 months old.

Jack before we went into the fair. So sweet!

The last few weeks....

Not too much has been going on since we got home from the lake and Dallas. I ended up getting sick. My cold then turned into a sinus infection and although I tried to stay away from Jack and keep him from getting my horrible cold he got it too. His turned into bilateral ear infections. Poor guy. He is now on antibiotics and feeling much better. Then of course no cold would be complete without attacking Dad too. We are all back to normal this week, thank the lord! Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks. The last ones are my favorite- Jack prior to going to his first CBS baby class and after. He didn't make it 5 min. in the car before he was out!

Labor Day Weekend and Dallas

We spent Labor Day weekend at the lake house with the family and then headed into Dallas on Wed of that week. Dad had to follow up with some clients and we decided to go with him! That also gave us a chance to go see our friends Brett and Lindsay, celebrate Brett's 30th birthday and see their beautiful baby girl Lainey who was born in late August. I have all kinds of pictures at the lake and then I totally forgot to take any pictures while we were in Dallas- not even any of little Lainey. I cant believe I forgot!

Once we got to the lake there was a ton of mowing to do, so Jack helped Dad for a while.

Opening Day of Dove Season

Some pictures of Jack and Dad after Dad got home from hunting. I think Jack had just woken up from a nap- he still looks sleepy!

Jack is far more interested in the Nilla Waffer in Dad's hand.
